Your new role

As an Intermediate Urban Planner, you will take on a hands-on role supporting and leading planning approvals and land-use strategy across a range of active developments. Working in a hybrid environment based in Kingston, ON, you will be involved from early concept through approvals, with clear visibility into how projects progress toward construction. This role offers real responsibility while maintaining a balanced and sustainable workload.

What you'll need to succeed

• 5–8 years of experience in urban planning (public, private, or a combination) • Eligibility for, or membership in, OPPI / RPP • Strong understanding of Ontario’s planning framework and approvals process

• Experience with rezoning, Official Plan amendments, and site plan approvals • Ability to manage projects independently and make informed decisions

• Strong coordination and communication skills when working with consultants and municipal stakeholders

• A practical, solutions-oriented mindset with attention to detail
