HR Green is looking for a Transportation Manager in Johnston, IA, to oversee project management for their Transportation Practice. Responsibilities include preparing project scopes and budgets, monitoring progress, and providing team mentorship. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, 10+ years of experience, and a Professional Engineer license. The role also involves business development and maintaining client communications.
Job Summary:

HR Green is seeking a skilled Project Manager to support our Transportation Practice in Iowa. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
• Project Management Duties:
• Prepare scopes of services, detailed project budgets, and contracts for review and approval.
• Monitor project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely completion and financial stability.
• Assign tasks, schedules, and budgets to project team members, coordinating project scheduling and conducting kick-off meetings.
• Provide feedback and mentorship to project team members through regular performance reviews.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with established QA/QC processes.
• Business Development:
• Cross-market other firm services to clients as appropriate.
• Participate in professional society activities related to water and wastewater professionals.
• Contribute to marketing plans and maintain accurate records of marketing activities.
• Identify project opportunities and participate in proposal preparation.
• Communications:
• Maintain contact with clients after project completion, cross-marketing other services as needed.
• Assure project correspondence is complete and accurate, maintaining established lines of communication.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering; Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Current Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; ability to obtain licensure in other states.
• Strong understanding of project accounting and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience in marketing and supervision of technical work.
