Responsibilities
• Design and drafting of engineering plans including bridges, retaining walls, culverts, and other structural details.
• Developing structural detailed drawings from rough sketches and/or verbal instructions or notes with limited direction from other staff as skill set advances.
• Performing structural computations with limited direction from engineering team. Includes performing structural analysis using structural analysis software.
• Completing and checking quantity calculations and cost estimates.
• Participates, as needed, in design meetings with engineering and client staff to fully understand expected project outcomes.
