Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation logistics, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of freight. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to analyze data, and proficiency in various dispatching tools and systems.

Responsibilities
• Manage incoming calls and inquiries regarding freight and logistics operations.
• Utilize phone systems effectively to communicate with drivers, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Analyze transportation needs and allocate resources accordingly to optimize delivery schedules.
• Dispatch drivers using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
• Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to coordinate freight movement.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including routes taken, delays, and driver performance.
• Communicate effectively with all parties involved to ensure seamless operations.

Skills
• Strong phone etiquette with the ability to handle multiple calls professionally.
• Proficiency in using phone systems and dispatching software.
• Ability to analyze data for effective decision-making in transportation management.
• Experience in dispatching within a logistics or transportation environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear interaction with drivers and clients.
• Understanding of third-party logistics (3PL) operations and freight management.
