Technical Support Unit Supervisor (Environmental Engineer 5)
• position. This position is located in our *
Southwest Region Office (SWRO)
• in
Lacey, WA.
{rel="nofollow"} Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.

As the Technical Support Unit Supervisor, you will manage professional staff who have important roles in the cleanup of contaminated sites. Your staff are responsible for investigations and cleanup, and for completing the inspection of underground storage tanks (UST). In this role, you'll help set priorities, plan and schedule work with your team, as well as manage, mentor, recruit, and train staff.

You'll also be a site manager and technical support engineer on some of the most complex cleanup sites, developing, directing, and overseeing professional engineering analysis and technical services for soil, groundwater, surface water, and sediment investigations. As technical lead, you'll direct and manage remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and design activities, and implement corrective action at regional contaminated sites.

• This position will have flexibility of a hybrid schedule, empowering work from home and office, providing less time in traffic and shrinking your carbon footprint. This position will be eligible to tele-work up to 3 days per week.
