Team Leader/ Expert In Climate Change, Environment And Sustainability

NTU International A/S is seeking a Team Leader/Expert in Climate Change, Environment, and Sustainability for a project in Madrid, Spain. The role requires a relevant university degree and 15 years of experience in advisory services related to climate and sustainability, including leadership roles. The position involves providing technical and financial support for environmental investments within the EU.
NTU International A/S is a leading partner in a consortium implementing the EU funded project Advisory Support on Climate Adaptation, Resilience and Nature-based Solutions in environmental sectors.

The overall objective of this assignment is to accelerate environmental investments by providing targeted technical and financial advisory support to public promoters within the EU.

Key Expert: Team Leader
Requirements
• At least a University Degree (or equivalent professional qualification) in engineering, environmental science, urban planning, economics, finance or an equivalent field relevant for the assignment.
• Excellent written and spoken English (CEFR C1) or equivalent.
Professional Experience
• At least 15 years of professional experience in advisory services related to climate change, environment and sustainability.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in managing consultancy assignments as Team Leader, Project Manager or in corporate leadership roles.
• Experience advising public authorities, financial institutions or government agencies in Europe on project preparation, project implementation or capacity building, with at least 5 projects in the last 10 years.
• Experience acting as Team Leader or Project Manager on at least 2 multi-EU country projects in the last 10 years.
