Job Description
Metso Outotec is seeking a Bulk Material Handling E&I Project Manager in Pittsburgh, PA, responsible for planning and managing projects, including financials and compliance. Key tasks involve stakeholder engagement, project success management, and continuous improvement. The role requires 20% travel and offers flexible hybrid working arrangements. Candidates should have over 5 years of project management experience in the bulk material handling or electrical automation sectors.
About the Role
As a Bulk Material Handling E&I Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning and managing all elements of assigned projects. This includes financial, resourcing, construction, procurement, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with Metso Outotec processes and tools. You will manage a portfolio of projects, utilizing solid Project Management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Drive project success by ensuring robust scope change management practices are followed.
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities and providing feedback to relevant stakeholders.
- Engage in strategic meetings to align on goals and progress.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to sales success by providing technical and cost input for sales cases and proposals.
You will be reporting to the Manager, Projects - BMH E&IThis position requires 20% travel and is mainly located in York or Pittsburgh, PA. However, we offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.

To succeed in this role, you should have significant experience in the bulk material handling mining industry or Electrical Automation OEMs. As a seasoned project manager, you should have over 5 years of experience, preferably with OEM side experience. Your background should include engineering, construction, planning, quality assurance/control, commissioning, and safety.
