Job Description
The Sustainable Agriculture Assistant position at Stichting Marlin Yard in Kinsey, AL, involves developing sustainable farming practices in Sint Maarten. Responsibilities include garden maintenance, crop cultivation, animal care, and basic construction. The role is available from Nov 2025 to June 2026 for 4-12 weeks with a commitment of 6 hours per day, 5 days a week. Volunteers receive accommodation, meals, and various benefits during their stay.

Learn Caribbean agriculture while contributing to food security initiatives.Support structure: Direct supervision by Team Leader for Agricultural and Eco Projects Available: Nov 2025-June 2026 Stay: 4-12 weeks Age: 18+ Work: 6hrs/day, 5 days/weekWhat you offerTime: 6 hours of help per dayAnimal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardensAdditional fee requiredAmount: US $ 150 One time Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to projectDescription: US $ 100 is for donation to Vicky’s Keys for activity materials and contribution to using the volunteer center utilities (Water/Electricity/Gas/Internet) and US $ 50 is a deposit required by the Volunteer Center that functions as a security deposit in case you damage anything or lost your room key during your stay.
