Job Description
EXP is seeking a Sustainability & Resilience Intern in Denver, CO. The intern will support sustainability strategies for infrastructure projects, assist with certifications like LEED and WELL, analyze data, and engage stakeholders. Candidates should be pursuing a degree in a related field and possess strong communication skills. This is a part-time position with a pay range of $23.00 to $27.00 per hour.

Be our next Sustainability & Resilience Intern
Your work environment at EXP
In this role, you will be a part of the Sustainability team, for exciting Infrastructure projects in the Denver office.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
• Serve as a trusted member of the team, working together to provide tailored sustainability strategies and solutions to our clients.
• Support sustainability strategy development and certification efforts (e.g., LEED, WELL, NZE, ENV SP)
• Help solve immediate sustainability needs
• Implement tailored strategies toward stronger ESG performance
• Help communicate with and engage stakeholders pertinent to each client’s sustainability strategy, educating all on the value of sustainability and the impact of sustainability strategies and initiatives.
• Assist with renewable energy analysis, greenhouse gas inventories and carbon neutral building assessments
• Synthesize research findings into key themes, analyze information to develop conclusions and draft recommendations for a variety of deliverables.
• Collect data and analyze from various departments and partners.
• Organize and clean data.
• Identify strategies for long-term data collection.
• Perform all other duties as directed by Management
• Produce high quality, visually compelling presentations and deliverables
• Facilitate conversations between multiple stakeholders to devise sustainability strategies
What your experience looks like
• Pursuing a degree in green building design, Environmental and Sustainable Business, engineering, sustainability management or a related field
• Familiarity with MS Office Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on the ability to organize and present design information to clients
The salary rate for this role is $23.00 to $27.00 per hour.
