EcoVadis is seeking a Sustainability Professional - Environmental Impact Specialist in Xico, Veracruz, Mexico. A Day in the Life
As a Sustainability Professional, you will be responsible for:
• Understanding sustainability management system documentation provided by rated companies, extracting and synthesizing material sustainability data related to environmental, social, ethics and supply chain
• Identifying the main characteristics of a rated company, such as company size, operational category, presence in risk countries
• Confirming the implementation of a rated company's sustainability management system components using the EcoVadis methodology guidelines
• Following up with rated companies, where needed, to clarify specific issues related to their assessment
• Contributing to the development and improvement of the assessment methodology
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• Bachelor's degree, preferably with a specialty in Sustainable Development or CSR
• Minimum 6 months of previous working experience in a related field
• A combination of analytical and interpersonal skills
• Experience in Sustainability/Sustainable Development is a plus
• Aptitude to evolve in an international environment
Must-Haves
You must have:
• Fluency in English and German
• Demonstrated analytical skills and attention to detail
• Confidence to work independently and autonomously
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to thrive in an international environment
• Capacity to adapt to a fast-paced growth environment
