Position: Sustainability Group Support

We're seeking someone to join our team as Corporate Services (CS) Sustainability Group Support to contribute to our environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategic and tactical work.

In the Corporate Services division, we provide solutions that enable Morgan Stanley's workforce, across our global workplace locations, to effectively and efficiently work in the service of our clients.

This is a Director level position within Business Unit Management, which performs business management/CAO functions including headcount management, financials, people processes, executive communications, and strategic support.

What you'll do in the role:
• Support operational greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory development, climate-related disclosures, governance deliveries, and the audit of operational data and metrics.
• Support continuous improvement through the development, optimization, and independent verification of policies and procedures.
• Support employee engagement communications and initiatives.
• Support development of strategic initiatives, tactical analytics, and cross functional partnerships.
• Create effective presentations and support stakeholder management at all levels of the organization.
• Complete tasks and project work by progressing them both independently and as part of a collaborative project team.

What you'll bring to the role:
• Experience managing operational GHG inventories, including scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, and their disclosure for internal, public, and regulatory purposes and a detailed understanding of the GHG Protocol.
• Familiar with the evolving climate regulations and standards with experience supporting regulatory ESG compliance.
• Critical thinker, problem solver, clear communicator, client focused contributor that delivers timely, high-quality solutions.
• Communicate effectively on climate-related issues, and you have experience building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and technical skills.
• Familiar with sustainability software systems.
• Knowledge of real estate leasing, design, construction, or operations.
