About the Role
Astec Industries is seeking an Environmental Compliance Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting customers with environmental regulatory compliance related projects, including assistance with air permitting and providing expert testimony during various types of public hearings.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform technical analyses and calculations associated with equipment environmental performance.
• Work closely with customers to provide required pertinent technical documentation and guidance during the equipment permitting process.
• Advise on applicable environmental regulations and compliance requirements for various equipment within the IPS Group's Product Portfolio.
• Provide expert testimony on emissions, permitting, and equipment operation in various settings.
Requirements
• A technical degree in engineering, physics, chemistry, engineering technology, sustainability, or a related technical field.
• A minimum of three years of career experience in a technology development, sustainability, product management, engineering, or sales roles.
• Understanding of environmental regulatory requirements and permitting process for industrial equipment.
• Demonstrated communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
