Job description

1. Designing solar panel layouts, hot water systems, and air conditioning units based on customer requirements and site conditions.

2. Design and develop mechanical components and systems for solar installations, hot water systems, and air conditioning units using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, ensuring compliance with Australian engineering standards and optimizing for energy efficiency, performance, and durability.

3. Visiting installation sites to assess structural integrity, shading analysis for solar panels, and determining the best location for HVAC systems and hot water systems.

4. Creating detailed technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics for installation teams.

5. Specifying the type, size, and number of solar panels, hot water tanks, air conditioning units, and any associated components (inverters, wiring, pumps, etc.).

6. Ensuring that all designs and installations comply with local, national, and international codes and standards (such as electrical codes, plumbing regulations, and energy efficiency standards).
