Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Energy Management Specialist to join our team. This role involves delivering technical guidance on energy efficiency and beneficial electrification, engaging in public outreach, and offering administrative support for critical projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical guidance on energy efficiency and beneficial electrification to members.
• Engage in public outreach to promote awareness of demand-side management strategies.
• Offer administrative support for critical projects.
• Foster awareness and promote sustainable practices within our community.
Education and Experience: A strong educational background, preferably with a BS degree from an ABET-accredited program in engineering, environmental sciences, community planning, or business development. An Associate degree combined with two years of relevant energy systems/audit experience or five years of electric utility work experience. A valid Alaska driver's license is required. Certifications such as Energy Manager In Training or Energy Efficiency Practitioner within six months.
