The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community is seeking a Sustainability Coordinator in Scottsdale, AZ. This role involves monitoring wildlife populations, managing data, and providing environmental education. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Arizona driver's license, and the ability to collect environmental samples. The position is full-time and requires passing a background check and drug testing.

As an Environmental Water Resources Technician, you will have the chance to make a real difference in the community by providing support to the Environmental Protection & Natural Resources Division with general environmental-related tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Helps monitor the Community's wildlife population and manage collected data.
- Provides environmental education and outreach to the Community.
- Relays vital information to the Environmental Programs Supervisor and environmental programs staff.

Requirements:
- Education & Experience: Graduation from High School or a GED equivalent is required.
- Possess and maintain a valid Arizona Driver's License.
- Ability to collect environmental quality samples under a variety of working conditions.

Bonus:
Prior to hire as an employee, applicants will be subject to drug and alcohol testing. Will be required to pass a pre-employment background/fingerprint check.
