Partner Engineering & Science is hiring a Sustainability Consultant (ESG) for BREEAM & IREM certifications. The role involves managing green building certification projects, providing consulting services, conducting assessments, and overseeing project execution. Candidates can work from any Partner office nationwide. Required qualifications include a relevant degree, experience in the green building industry, and certifications such as LEED AP or BREEAM AP.

Learn more about is hiring Sustainability Consultants to work as technical resources as part of our energy consulting team. The successful candidates will manage all aspects of project execution and management related to Green Building certification projects with an emphasis on existing building certifications and specifically BREEAM and IREM Certification projects. We are looking for qualified candidates nationwide as this position can be based in any of our Partner offices.Responsibilities Provide Green Building consulting services and analysis to support LEED, IREM, BREEAM, Green Globes, and other green certification projectsManage the Green Building certification documentation processesLead design charrettes / client meetingsreview project plans and documentationreview construction submittalsconduct on-site assessments & inspectionsAssess building performance metricsWork within certification platforms & portals for project executionOversee data collection, field visits, energy analysis and metrics, and related tasks to achieve a green building certificationPerform benchmarking analyses of energy, water, waste, and air quality metrics.Manage a portfolio of green building projects, delivering them on time, on budget, and with technical proficiencyPlan project activities, update project forecasts, and maintain accurate records of project milestonesCommunicate project budgets, check hours booked, provide task training, oversight, and QCManage team of internal staff members for project executionManage external subcontractors as neededAssist with project invoicing, forecasting, and other project management tasksAttend internal and external meetingsEffectively communicate with clients to ensure client needs and expectations are metIdentify and communicate project staffing needs and other project issues to technical directorMaintain target utilization rateREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture, Environmental Science or related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in the green building industryExperience using energy modeling programs such as eQuest, EnergyPro and/or Energy PlusExperience conducting energy analyses of building systemsClient and project management experienceMinimum LEED AP, WELL AP and/or BREEAM AP or equivalentMinimum of 1 year experience with IREM and BREEAM certification programsFamiliarity with LEED, Green Globes, EnergyStar, National Green Building Standard, Enterprise Green Communities, and Green Point Rated certification programsProject management experienceAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office SuitePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSFamiliarity with CALGreen, Title 24 energy code, ASHRAE, IECC and IBCEngineer, Architect license, or Certified Energy ManagerKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend EnglishExcellent math and problem-solving skillsAbility to work both independently and in a team environmentAbility to adjust work schedule to meet deadlinesSelf-directed, organized, and able to work with minimum supervisionPassion for, and demonstrated interest in, sustainability and energy efficiency fields.Demonstrated mastery in technical subject matter including:Building systems, including HVAC systems, building envelope, and lighting systemsAbility to read, understand and interpret building floor plans, site plans, and zoning mapsCompensation: Salary range is $90,000 to $110,000/yr. This is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role.The pay scale for this role considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
