Sustainability Consultant

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Geologist, Engineer or Environmental Scientist to join our team at EnSafe. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global environmental consulting and engineering firm that prioritizes high ethical and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Project and client management
• Preparing Work Plans, Cost Estimates, and Safety Plans
• Conducting and documenting site investigation activities (soil, groundwater, indoor air, soil gas, groundwater, and stormwater sampling)
• Conducting environmental sample collection (e.g., storm water, soil, and groundwater)
• Planning, conducting, and managing all aspects of Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments
• Authoring technical reports with technical recommendations for site assessment/remedial activities

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in geology, engineering, environmental science, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years' experience
• HAZWOPER training and certification
• Experience with multi-media environmental sampling
• Knowledge of storm water compliance laws and policies (SWPP and Groundwater Protection plans), as well as SPCC plans
• Staff management and supervisory experience
• Proven project management experience
• Ability to travel regionally including overnight travel
• Ability to work 30% in the field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
