Job Description

CBRE is seeking a Sustainability Consultant for a 3-year contract in Singapore. The role involves overseeing sustainability programs, conducting feasibility studies, developing energy and waste strategies, managing green building certifications, and advising on environmental matters. Candidates should have a relevant degree or diploma with 3-5 years of experience, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
About the Role

As a CBRE Sustainability Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the development and execution of sustainability programs. This position is integral to the Sustainability function, focusing on the implementation of environmental and social sustainability initiatives.

What You’ll Do

To support building owners on the feasibility study of engineering solutions and conduct life cycle costing to improve productivity and efficiencyTo have basic knowledge on the design of ACMV systems and M&E services to achieve operational and cost efficiencyDevelop and execute energy, water and waste strategies and assessments to drive the sustainability agenda.To oversee and manage the Green building certification/re-certification of BuildingsTo advise building owners on environmental sustainability mattersConducting walk-through audit, measurement and verification of building performance to analyze and propose improvement.Conduct site assessments and producing reports for sustainability areas or environmental concerns, ensure data collection and reporting requirements are not onerousTranslate sustainability strategies into actionable initiatives to be suitably applied at the property level - for each property in the portfolioDraft and prepare reports, presentations, and proposals; presents proposals and recommendations to the relevant stakeholdersWork with various development teams to ensure environmental sustainability initiatives are in place and actively tracked and reported as requiredPrepare short reports, track project status and meet scheduled deadlines What You’ll Need



Bachelor's Degree preferred (ideally in Engineering) with 3-5years of relevant experience in sustainability or a related fieldFresh grads are also welcome to applyDiploma holders with at least 3-5 years relevant working experiences are welcome to apply Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM), Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAP), CFME Tier 3 and above are highly recommendedStrong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve moderately complex issuesAbility to communicate complex information effectively and manage sensitive situationsProven ability to influence and build consensus among stakeholders with shared interestsIn-depth knowledge of sustainability best practices and industry standardsProficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and OutlookStrong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset to drive continuous improvement in sustainability initiative
