Bunzl North America is hiring a Sustainability Analyst for their St. Louis, MO team. The role involves developing analytical tools, creating PowerBI dashboards, and analyzing product data to support sustainability initiatives. Responsibilities include reporting on sustainability goals, improving data processes, and assisting with customer inquiries. Candidates should have a relevant degree, 3+ years of experience, and strong analytical and communication skills. This position is onsite and local candidates only.

This role will support our customer engagement efforts by building product data models and analyzing data to create actionable insights and product transition plans.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain analytical tools that assess the sustainability impact of Bunzl’s product portfolio.Create powerful dashboards using PowerBI to show the value of embedding sustainability practices and products into customers’ businesses.Support customer product data reporting requests.Analyze and interpret product data to identify business needs and opportunities to implement sustainable products alternatives.Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to uncover insights that inform product improvements, customer engagement strategies, and business growth opportunities.Apply compounded filters to segment data to provide accurate information for customer compliance reportingBuild dashboards and advanced visualizations using PowerBI to communicate performance, sustainability metrics, and actionable insights to stakeholders.Develop and document processes for data collection and internal quality assurance auditsReview and continuously improve data processes and identify opportunities to automated reporting.Track and report on progress towards sustainability goals and key performance indicators.Assist internal and external teams with sustainable product inquiries in a timely manner.Core Competencies

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related disciplines3+ years of experience in a corporate business settingAdvanced Excel and data analytics skillsExpertise in building out PowerBI dashboards Strong, proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insightsA self-starter with the ability to prioritize stakeholder inquiries and projects to meet tight deadlinesCuriosity and exceptional problem-solving skillsAbility to thrive in ambiguous situationsAbility to successfully manage multiple assignmentsPreferred Requirements
