Job Description

The City of Indianapolis is seeking a highly qualified Sustainability Administrator to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce the city's carbon footprint and promote sustainable practices.
• Collaborate with city departments, community groups, and businesses to advance sustainability initiatives.
• Provide education and outreach to residents, businesses, and organizations on sustainable practices and policies.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify best practices and innovative solutions for sustainability challenges.

Qualifications:
• Masters degree in environmental management, urban planning, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in sustainability, environmental policy, or a related field.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability initiatives.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
