Green Infrastructure Partners is hiring a Surveyor in Windsor, ON. The role involves site layout, topographic and quantity surveying, and preparing data for automated systems. SUMMARY

The Surveyor will perform precise site layout, topographic and quantity surveying, and preparing data for automated grade control systems. This position ensures accurate field measurements, supports efficient construction layout, and produces reliable as-built drawings that document completed work and guide project progress.

The position is seasonal (to December) with potential for future career growth.

PRIMARY SCOPE OF ROLE

FIELD SURVEYING & SITE LAYOUT
• Layout of construction sites using GPS and robotic survey equipment and software
• Performing topography and quantity surveying for earth works and construction layout

DATA PREPARATION, DOCUMENTATION & AS-BUILT DELIVERABLES
• Preparing data for automated grade control systems and construction layout
• Generating as-built drawings

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Post-secondary diploma in a civil engineering technology/construction management program.
• 3+ years of practical surveying/layout experience on heavy civil construction projects.
• Proficient in Robotic Total Station, GPS, CAD and MS Office software.
• Proficient with the use of GPS and survey measurement equipment.
• Mathematical aptitude to complete surveying calculations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, plans and layout sheets and keep legible survey notes.
• A valid G driver's licence is required.
• Willing to work nights/ weekends when scheduled.

• Expected Base Wage: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour. The actual base salary will depend on several factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity, work location and market expectations.
