Conduct regular audits and assessments of supply chain practices to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with sustainability standards.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify and implement sustainable sourcing options for materials and products.
Monitor and analyze supply chain data to track progress towards sustainability goals and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in sustainable supply chain management and proactively make recommendations for improvement.
Educate and train supply chain team members on sustainability principles and practices.
Serve as a liaison between the company and suppliers to promote sustainable practices and monitor their sustainability performance.
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into procurement processes, including vendor selection and contract negotiations.
Communicate with stakeholders, including customers and investors, to share progress and achievements in supply chain sustainability.
Act as an ambassador for the company's sustainability mission, promoting a culture of sustainability within the organization and externally.
