Ultra Clean Technology is seeking a Supervisor, QA in Singapore to oversee QA technicians, manage inspection processes, and ensure adherence to quality standards in semiconductor manufacturing. Duties and Responsibilities Supervise QA technicians/inspectors performing incoming, in‑process, and final inspections Assign work, prioritize inspection tasks, and ensure timely support for manufacturing and engineering needs Review inspection results, NCRs, and quality data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities Ensure adherence to quality standards, procedures, sampling plans, and defect classification criteria Support root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action (CAPA), and quality investigations Maintain accurate and compliant documentation, inspection records, and traceability per quality system requirements Partner with Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, and Manufacturing to resolve quality issues impacting production Ensure readiness for internal, customer, and regulatory audits; support preparation and evidence gathering Oversee calibration, operation, and maintenance of inspection equipment and metrology tools Train and mentor QA staff on inspection methods, documentation accuracy, SPC basics, and quality expectations Monitor QA KPIs (inspection throughput, NCR cycle time, defect rates, audit findings); recommend improvements Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to yield, defect reduction, and process consistency Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and compliance within the QA team Knowledge, Skills, Experience Minimum Qualifications Experience in quality assurance, inspection, or manufacturing quality roles Strong understanding of inspection methods, measurement tools, and quality standards Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and defect classification criteria Experience supervising or coordinating the work of QA personnel Strong communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills Ability to work effectively in fast‑paced, high‑volume manufacturing environments Preferred Qualifications Semiconductor manufacturing or other high‑reliability, cleanroom industry QA experience Familiarity with SPC, control charts, and statistical quality tools Experience with nonconformance management, NCR/MRB workflows, and CAPA processes Knowledge of ISO/QMS requirements and audit readiness Demonstrated success improving inspection performance, reducing defects, or strengthening compliance Education, Certifications, Requirements Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, or a related technical field Quality‑related certifications (e.g., ASQ CQT, CQI, CQPA, or similar) Cleanroom, ESD, or safety‑related training Training in continuous improvement, SPC, or structured problem‑solving (Lean/Six Sigma) Ultra Clean Technology is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
