The University of Vermont Health Network is hiring a Supervisor for Environmental Services in Burlington, VT. The role involves overseeing waste management, cleaning, and infection prevention. Scheduled Monday to Friday from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM, the position requires an Associate’s degree and five years of supervisory experience, with two years in healthcare. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for new hires committing to 18 months.

• This position will be scheduled Monday - Friday, 5:00PM - 1:30AM
• This position is not required to work on the weekends.

• External candidates are eligible for a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for 18- month employment commitment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for the supervision of operations related to Waste Management, the physical appearance, and Infection Prevention of the complete Environment of Care through cleaning, and disinfection. The Supervisor coordinates all routine and project assignments and activities for ES, maintains all schedules, training, evaluations, and performance improvement plans. Meets with Department Managers regularly. The incumbent(s) achieves cost, quality, and regulatory objectives while meeting FAHC'S strategic and operational objectives.

EDUCATION:

Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of five years of supervisory experience. Two years in a Health Care environment.
