About Distance Education:

Distance Education provides an entirely asynchronous, online
learning experience that adapts to the unique circumstances of each
student. Our fully accredited bachelor's and master's degree
programs, as well as non-degree credits, empower learners to shape
their own educational journey. With 8 five-week terms for
undergraduates and 5 eight-week terms for graduate students, our
model offers unparalleled flexibility. You can learn at your own

The Opportunity:

Unity Environmental University Distance Education seeks
enthusiastic individuals to serve as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
to support the development of a Bachelor of Science program in
Psychology of Cybernetic Design. SMEs work closely with an academic
dean to advise on and develop curricula, including program-level
learning outcomes and course descriptions and sequences. They also
collaborate with staff to create learner-focused materials to
support program recruitment and marketing.

Qualifications

Do you have the skills?
• An advanced degree (Master’s minimum) in psychology, computer
science, education, or other related field with significant
experience developing cybernetic systems.
• Broad understanding of the field of cybernetics and current
best practices within the field.
• Knowledge of how human behavior and thinking intersect with and
are shaped by technological tools and interfaces.
• Understanding of AI systems.
• Familiarity with the skills and content knowledge required for
successful career advancement in cybernetics.
• Ability to efficiently operate a personal computer and
associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately.
• Experience with online teaching and/or distance learners is
desirable.
• Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of
the University.

The Location

Unity University's distance education curriculum is 100% online.
Our Distance Education Adjuncts will teach remotely.
