Job Description
CBRE is seeking a Sr. Learning and Development Specialist to identify learning needs and develop training programs. Responsibilities include collaborating with business units, developing content, facilitating learning sessions, and managing training materials. About The Role
Under moderate supervision, responsible for collaborating with business units and/or Lines of Business to identify learning needs and provide appropriate solutions by crafting, developing, and coordinating a variety of Learning and Development programs
What You’ll Do
Helps create and deliver Learning and Development (L&D) training programs in three key areas; Learning Resources, Content and Curriculum Development, or Learning Platform Operations. Coordinates with department for collaboration to ensure effective outcomes.
Collaborates with People partners and business unit partners to identify learning and development needs and makes recommendations of appropriate solutions and delivery modalities that meet organizational learning demands.
Will support L&D audits along with running related reports.
Partners with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify and/or develop content and design training material, if needed.
Develops, coordinates and facilitates learning sessions and programs to business partners.
Audits and updates training materials, programs, curriculums and playlists within the LMS as needed.
Manages communication and marketing plans for new courses and training updates within the business.
Ensures all new content creation is aligned with L&D and LMS governance guidelines.
Uses the learning dashboard for training analytics and standard learning metrics to evaluate learning efficiency that help drive team initiatives.
Researches learning industry trends, methodologies, and standard processes and integrates those into professional practice.
Develops sound relationships with business partners, managers, consultants and trainers.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university in human resources or related field required. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience.
Experience with SuccessFactors and/or MyLearning Platforms nice to have, not required.
