Job Description

WWF-India is seeking a Specialist in Monitoring & Evaluation for its Biodiversity Division in New Delhi. The role involves developing M&E procedures, monitoring projects, analyzing data, and preparing reports. Candidates should have a degree in Environmental Science and 3-5 years of experience. WWF-India is one of the largest organisations engaged in wildlife and nature conservation over the past 50 years. We are inviting applications from interested candidates for the role of Specialist - M&E to be a part of our Biodiversity Conservation division.

Location: New Delhi

Job Profile:
Develop and strengthen monitoring and evaluation procedures consistent with WWF-India M&E framework for the department under BioDiversity Division.
Undertake regular M&E of various projects using robust tools that are not time-consuming.
Regularly monitor data inputs and undertake analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to provide inputs for adaptive management.
Develop monitoring and impact indicators for the project success.
Support landscape teams in compiling data related to progress, short- & medium-term outcomes and impacts.
Help prepare technical reports on a regular basis for WWF-India for the donors and partners
Coordinate development of M&E frameworks for new concepts and proposals.
Create an eco-system of M&E resources in the landscapes and train them on new technologies and methodologies of the modern M&E process.
Support engagement with donors and partners to ensure the smooth running of the programme.
Carry out any other responsibilities, as mutually agreed, related to the execution of activities of the Biodiversity Programme
Working on any other issues or matters arising out of this area as may be within the purview of WWF-India
Analyse spending patterns/fund utilization and help in preparing the statistical predictive models and provide inputs to new proposal budgeting.

Requirements

Desired Qualifications & Experience:
B. Tech / M. Tech / M. Sc / Environmental Science in Bachelors / Masters from TIS / IIFM
3 5 of experience in related field
