Bonafide Health, LLC is hiring a Sourcing & Sustainable Packaging Intern for their Women’s Health team in San Diego, CA. This hybrid role requires in-office work two days a week. The intern will support strategic sourcing and procurement efforts to reduce packaging impact, ensure compliance with environmental laws, and develop sustainability initiatives. Key responsibilities include collaborating with vendors, managing data, and contributing to sustainability planning.

This is a hybrid role requiring candidates to commute to our San Diego, CA office 2 days per week on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Bonafide is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sourcing & Sustainable Packaging Intern, Women’s Health to support our Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Team in developing a comprehensive plan to reduce packaging impact across Bonafide’s Women’s Health portfolio brands. In this role, the intern will be responsible for uploading and managing data to ensure compliance with SB 54 across our three brands. The intern will assist in ensuring accurate and complete cataloging of our data collection. Additionally, they will contribute to the development of a long-term strategic sustainability plan, delivered at the culmination of the internship. Intern will make recommendations for best practices in sustainable packaging in the industry and research potential suppliers for the plan. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sustainable sourcing and procurement. The Sourcing & Sustainable Packaging Intern will play an essential role in advancing Bonafide’s commitment to environmental responsibility and will provide valuable exposure to sustainability planning, procurement strategies, and cross-functional collaboration. The Sourcing & Sustainable Packaging Intern, Women’s Health reports to the Senior Manager, Sourcing and will work closely with various internal teams to support Bonafide’s operational sustainability efforts. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborating with vendors and internal teams to assess sustainable packaging options. Evaluating budgets and developing phased sustainability initiatives (short-, mid-, and long-term). Supporting the execution of sustainability strategies and process improvements. Work closely with procurement, operations, marketing, and compliance teams to integrate sustainability into packaging decisions. Ensure packaging materials comply with relevant environmental laws and corporate sustainability commitments. Who you are: Multi-tasker: Juggling multiple projects simultaneously is a breeze for you. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: In order to take on these challenges, you’ll need to have: Current student (junior or Senior, B.S. preferred) or recent graduate (B.S. or M.S.) with experience in Sustainability , Public Policy, or related fields. Experience or coursework in sustainability, data collection, strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously and efficiently. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with participants, researchers, and team members both virtually and in-person. Proficiency in data entry, management, and basic analysis using tools like Excel or statistical software. Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining data integrity and confidentiality. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment. Reliable, self-motivated, and eager to contribute to meaningful research initiatives. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position primarily works in a remote or office environment. It requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and frequent walking. Daily use of a computer, phone, office equipment and other computing and digital devices is required. May be required to stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities. Some local travel may be necessary, so the ability to travel by plane, operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver’s license and/or effectively navigate public transportation is required. While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee must be able to read and respond to interoffice communications as well as effectively participate in meetings. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to lift up to 20 lbs., pull, push, carry, handle or feel. The employee is required to carry, handle items, reach with arms and hands, to stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear. Mental demands may require prolonged concentration, reading comprehension, understanding and interpretation of concepts, ideas and philosophies. National Target Base Pay Range: 19.23/hr - 30.77/hr The salary range for this position is based on national standards. For candidates in California and New York metro the Target Base Pay Range is 19.23/hr - 30.77/hr, to reflect the cost of living and market conditions in those areas. Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications and job-related skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. Base pay is only one component of our total rewards offerings, and we will take the full offering into consideration when presenting an offer of employment. Our total rewards package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, Medical, dental and vision benefits, 401K match, and other wellness benefits. Pharmavite provides compensation for all overtime hours worked by non-exempt (hourly) employees in accordance with state and federal law. The need to work overtime hours will be determined by management, based on customer and business necessity to meet the needs of our business, Pharmavite may require employees to work overtime. Voluntary overtime requested by non-exempt employees must be approved in advance by the employee’s supervisor This represents the minimum and maximum base salary range for this role, plus annual incentive.
