Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a successful renewable energy provider who cover Commercial, Industrial and some Utility scale Solar projects, to recruit a Solar PV Installer for their main office based down in South Somerset.

The crucial position of Solar PV Installer role comes with a salary of up to £40,000, company pension, and a company van + a fuel card.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Lead Installer you will:
• Complete installation processes, this is inclusive of fixing mounting systems
• Complete site investigations, to bet determine what fixings and mounting systems are required
• Work with other members of staff to complete the installation in a timely manner
• Stick to safety procedures

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:
• A minimum of 1 years' experience working on Solar PV Installation, a variation in roof types is desirable
• Experience with a range of panels and mounting systems is desirable
• Basic electrical understanding is desirable
• Knowledge of Health and Safety protocols
• Working at Heights experience

Personal skills

The Solar PV Installer role would suit someone who is:
• Physically fit enough to perform manual labour for long durations
• Confident in your reaction time and hand eye coordination
• Able to work within a team and have strong communication skills
• Ability to be able to work away from home
• Full UK Driving License
