Solar Project Manager (onsite)

Piper Maddox is seeking Solar Project Managers for onsite roles in Las Vegas Valley, NV. The position offers a salary of $110K–145K per year and includes per diem for onsite work.
A prominent US-based construction firm is seeking several Solar Project Managers. This company has long been recognized as a top Solar Contractor, boasting a robust project portfolio. Their active sites are spread across the US.




The Project Manager will be responsible for guiding projects and teams from initial qualification through estimation, pre-construction, mobilization, execution, and final closeout. Working closely with the Superintendent and field team, this role ensures that all project and contractual obligations are met safely, professionally, and within the established budgets and timelines. You will play a pivotal role in defining team roles and communication strategies, ensuring that work progresses smoothly and efficiently.




This is a 100% onsite position. In addition to base salary and bonus, per diem will be provided as this is very much an onsite position.




Key responsibilities include:

Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners, acting as an advocate and representative for the company.Identifying and acquiring new projects, quoting, and managing them to meet the expectations of new business partners.Overseeing projects to meet financial targets, adhering to specifications and plans, and implementing corrective actions for problematic jobs. Maintaining involvement from project initiation to completion.Collaborating with internal teams to bid and execute projects, working with Production, CIG, and Customer teams to meet project objectives, and coordinating with the Purchasing Team.Accurately maintaining the Business Information System, tracking project and pipeline status, and focusing on key issues. Utilizing Salesforce and managing pipeline information.Assisting in the training and development of new hires assigned to support projects.


We are seeking candidates with:

At least five years of experience in utility/substation electrical construction project management.Experience with PV or BESS projects.Proven experience in managing teams.A degree in Construction Project Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
