Job Description

Trinity Solar is seeking a Solar Installation Technician in Hewitt, NJ. The role involves installing solar PV modules, ensuring safety and compliance with designs, and maintaining job site organization. Candidates should have a high school diploma, relevant experience, and mechanical skills. Join our dynamic team as a Solar Installation Technician! In this role, you will play a key part in the renewable energy revolution by assembling and installing solar photovoltaic (PV) modules to roofs or other structures, ensuring compliance with site assessments and schematics.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install solar modules according to all codes and specifications.
• Identify safety hazards and ensure proper orientation, module layout, solar access, and structural integrity.
• Review designs to assess current requirements; proactively identify and address any installation or material deficiencies.
• Keep comprehensive documentation of system installations, including photographs and location diagrams, and submit all reports promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site at all times.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-2 years of electrical training or relevant experience is preferred.
• Possess strong mechanical skills, including proficiency with tools, climbing, and maintaining good balance.
• Ability to work safely on rooftops for prolonged periods and comfortably ascend and descend ladders.
• Regularly lift and maneuver loads of 40 to 50 lbs.
• Must demonstrate a reliable attendance record.
• Have reliable transportation to the office or specified job site.
