HardHat Workforce Solutions LLC is hiring a Solar Electrician in Hartsville, SC. The role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar power systems across various sites. Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Solar Electrician to join our dynamic renewable energy team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar power systems on residential, commercial, and industrial sites. Your expertise will help drive the transition to clean energy by ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality electrical installations. Duties
Install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems according to blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to ensure precise system setup Perform high voltage and low voltage electrical work safely in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards Connect electrical components including fixtures, inverters, and wiring harnesses with hand tools and power tools Conduct system inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to optimize performance and safety Collaborate with roofing teams during installation to ensure secure fixture mounting on various roof types Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for complex electrical layouts involving plumbing and roofing considerations Operate construction site equipment such as forklifts when necessary for material handling Ensure all electrical work adheres to safety protocols and local building codes while maintaining a clean work environmentExperience
Proven experience as a commercial electrician or in electrical installation within construction sites or related fields Strong knowledge of high voltage (HV) and low voltage electrical systems, including NEC standards Skilled in blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and technical documentation Hands-on experience with fixture installation, wiring, and troubleshooting electrical systems in construction settings Familiarity with roofing procedures related to solar panel mounting is preferred Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety regulations and teamwork is highly valuedJoin us in shaping the future of energy!
