Shipping Lawyer (Sustainable Transport)

Jameson Legal is seeking a Shipping Lawyer (Sustainable Transport) in London with 2+ years of experience in maritime and transportation law. The role focuses on advising clients on physical transportation contracts, environmental compliance, and sustainable practices within the maritime industry. Candidates with a general maritime background are also considered. The position offers career progression, training, and a competitive salary of £90K–£120K annually in a full-time capacity.
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a lawyer with 2+ years’ experience in the maritime and transportation sector, specialising in physical transportation contracts and handling related disputes, to join a global law firm based in London.

The role involves providing guidance to clients across the entire spectrum of physical transportation within the sustainable maritime industry, focusing on air pollution regulations and environmental compliance, decarbonisation, ESG, alternative and eco-friendly maritime fuels, as well as sustainable maritime technologies and solutions.

While prior experience in this specialised field is preferred, our client is open to considering candidates with a general maritime/transport background who are eager to specialise in this sector.
