ID Boise: Push Congress to pass climate laws

Citizens' Climate Lobby seeks volunteers in Boise, ID to advocate for climate legislation. Volunteers will engage with local community members and Congress through meetings, calls, and events. Training and tools are provided to support effective volunteer activities. Monthly meetings with other volunteers are part of the role. No degree is required for this position.
Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) is a nonpartisan climate organization with more than 350 grassroots chapters nationwide — including in your area!

Volunteer with your local chapter of CCL to work with your community and your members of Congress to advance climate change legislation.

When you join, we provide all the training and tools you need to be an effective volunteer.

Your activities might include:
• Contacting your members of Congress through in-person meetings, calls and emails to encourage them to support climate legislation.
• Talking to your community about climate solutions at local events like festivals or farmers markets or through the local media.
• Attending monthly meetings with other local CCL volunteers to plan all of the above activities, and more!
