Job Description
Haskoning is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager Maritime to lead design and advisory projects in the Dutch market, focusing on hydraulic engineering structures. The role involves enhancing client relationships, expanding the order portfolio, and collaborating with various business lines. The position is based in Amersfoort, Netherlands, and requires expertise in maritime consultancy amidst market changes like energy transition and digitalization.
We are a leading global player in maritime civil consultancy, including port development, inland navigation, and the design of hydraulic engineering structures. We are looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager Maritime to strengthen our position in our home market, the Netherlands. You will turn (potential) clients into partners in a rapidly changing market with new challenges, including energy transition, digitalization, and the replacement and renovation of hydraulic engineering works.
What you will do as a Senior Technical Project Manager Maritime
As a Senior Technical Project Manager for the Dutch market, you will lead various design and advisory projects (e.g., quays, piers, and other hydraulic engineering structures) for our clients in the Netherlands. Additionally, you will enhance our visibility with existing and new clients, expanding our order portfolio. You will leverage your own technical and market knowledge, knowledge from our Climate Resilience & Maritime Advisory Group NL, and collaborate with other Business Lines to create or capitalize on (market) opportunities collectively. Besides our important port company accounts, we see opportunities to broaden our portfolio, especially in the private market and the V&R assignment for Rijkswaterstaat and regional authorities. You will build relationships with existing and new clients, identify new possibilities, and translate them into commercially interesting leads, proposals, and projects. You are not only aware of market developments, but also see new (innovative) opportunities in the maritime and hydraulic engineering domain based on market trends and innovations within Royal HaskoningDHV.
Specific tasks and responsibilities include:
• leading design and advisory projects in the Dutch civil maritime market
• as a hands-on account manager, creating a larger order portfolio for existing and new clients by connecting market needs with our technically high-level expertise
• developing and implementing a structured approach for the Dutch market for our advisory group, coordinating with globally operating business developers and colleagues from other business lines
• coordinating and collaborating with account managers and other business developers to optimize market service
• managing a portfolio of clients
• contributing to and/or leading proposal processes
Where you will work

As a team, we excel in a wide range of services related to climate resilience and maritime developments. We offer our clients high-quality products and services in various project phases: strategic advice, master planning, feasibility, design phases, and construction support. We have a strong position in the Netherlands, but are also globally leading and at the forefront of sustainable development and innovation in the market.

• 28 vacation days with a full-time position
• a well-located workplace in our offices in Rotterdam, Amersfoort, or Nijmegen, along with travel allowances or an NS-Business Card
