About the position

The Sr Sustainability Specialist at Page will provide sustainable consulting services primarily for projects seeking LEED certification and high-performance design. This role involves leadership in various market sectors, including advanced manufacturing, mission critical, or healthcare projects, and serves as a subject matter expert within the Building Science team. The position aims to elevate discussions on performance and sustainability across all projects, ensuring that the firm fulfills its vision of 'design that makes lives better.'

Responsibilities
• Conducts project goal setting and early alignment of sustainability impacts
,
• Leads sustainability project management and 3rd party certification efforts
,
• Assists designers, clients, engineers, and contractors with sustainable design research and implementation
,
• Develops and presents sustainability trainings in addition to cultivating firm-wide resources
,
• Maintains knowledge of sustainability, wellness, and energy-related regulations/certification programs
,
• Monitors, tracks, and benchmarks projects and goals
,
• Prepares materials for sustainable design awards
,
• Serves as an internal and external leader in issues of firm technical capability with respect to sustainable design
,
• Other responsibilities based on market sector expertise or team leadership capabilities

Requirements
• Bachelor's in architecture, architectural, mechanical or environmental engineering
,
• 5-8 years of relevant LEED Project management experience
,
• LEED specialty credential
,
• Demonstrated experience developing, implementing and evaluating sustainability concepts and strategies
,
• Strong knowledge of LEED and other 3rd party systems (Green Globes, WELL, fitwel, Guiding Principles)
,
• Familiarity with Building Performance Analysis to help guide project processes
,
• Effective project management, task management, and following through
,
• Adept change agent dedicated to improving processes
,
• Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
,
• Strong written and communication skills (presentation/training ability)
