Senior Structural Engineer - Solar

KCP ECO ENERGY INDIA PVT LTD is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to oversee design and implementation for solar energy projects in Tamil Nadu. Responsibilities include structural analysis, design using software like STAAD Pro and AutoCAD, and site supervision. The role requires strong knowledge of design standards and experience in solar projects. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits and a salary range of ₹25,000 - ₹40,000 per month.
Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead structural analysis, design, and implementation for solar energy projects — including rooftop, ground-mounted, and elevated structures. This is a hybrid role involving design work at the office and site supervision/validation when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Structural design and analysis of support systems for solar panel mounting structures, inverter platforms, and foundations
✅ Use of STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, PVSyst, and related tools to perform load calculations, wind analysis, and optimize structural layouts
✅ Review and approve detailed construction drawings, BOQs, and material specs
✅ Ensure structural integrity in line with IS codes, safety standards, and project-specific criteria
✅ Coordinate with civil, electrical, and project management teams to align structural design with execution goals
✅ Provide technical support during procurement and construction phases
✅ Conduct site visits to validate structural feasibility and oversee critical stages
✅ Liaise with third-party consultants or clients for structural approvals and compliance

Candidate Profile

✔ Strong knowledge of Indian and international structural design standards
✔ Proven experience in solar EPC projects (both rooftop and ground-mounted)
✔ Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, and basic civil engineering software
✔ Ability to lead junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams
✔ Excellent communication and reporting skills

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
