Invenergy is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Renewable Project Management in Denver, CO. The role involves managing renewable energy projects (Solar, BESS, Wind) from development to construction. Responsibilities include contract management, permitting, and construction oversight. Candidates should have a degree in engineering or construction management, with 10+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the power sector. The position requires on-site presence at the Denver office.

Job Description
Position OverviewÂ
The Senior Project Manager, Renewable Project Management will provide technical guidance to business development efforts and support advanced development & construction for renewable energy (Solar, BESS, Wind and Transmission) projects. You will be responsible for managing projects from advanced development and construction to achieve commercial operation and supporting the technical needs of projects in development.Â
This position will be based full-time on site at Invenergy’s downtown Chicago or Denver office.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare, negotiate and manage EPC Contracts.Â
• Manage construction permitting activities and ensure that all required construction permits have been obtained.Â
• Manage and monitor construction activities for multiple project sites.Â
• Ensure that the site construction activities adhere to established construction protocols.Â
• Assist development team with site layout, micro-siting and civil design of projects. Â
• Lead coordination of development and construction efforts with interconnecting utilities.Â
• Lead coordination and support of internal project financing and accounting efforts.Â
Minimum Qualifications: Â
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of professional experience with 7+ years of progressive construction project management experience, preferably in the power sector or 7+ years of progressive project management experience in the power sector, preferably in construction.
• Experience leading high budget energy, infrastructure, or related major projects from start of construction to commercial operation.
• Demonstrated experience with preparing, negotiating, and managing EPC contracts for projects.
• Thorough understanding and implementation of projects in accordance with contracts.Â
• Experience in development and execution of complex project schedules utilizing state-of-the art scheduling tools.Â
• Able to travel up to 25% of the time.Â
• Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Engineering
• Excellent solution-seeking, teamwork, leadership and communication skills which extend across all organizational and management levels.Â
• Demonstrated ability in leadership of multi-disciplined teams of engineers and outside consultants.Â
• Power industry, renewable energy industry experience preferred. Specific experience in wind and solar farm development.Â
Base Pay
$155,000.00 - $185,000.00 USD Annual
Bonus 25-40%
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
