We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Project Manager to join our dynamic Energy Services team in the Engineering industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to manage and oversee a variety of energy projects, including energy retrofit, HVAC, lighting retrofit, and renewable energy projects.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial projects, construction management, submittals, budgeting, and cost control. They will also have a deep understanding of project finances and project budgets, and be adept at handling RFIs. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee a diverse portfolio of energy projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
2. Develop and manage detailed project plans, including tracking progress and making necessary adjustments.
3. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
4. Perform risk management to minimize project risks and ensure safety regulations are met.
5. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including submittals and RFIs.
6. Manage project finances, including budgeting and cost control, to ensure profitability.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
8. Ensure that all projects are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
9. Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Engineering industry, with a focus on energy services.
3. Proven experience managing energy retrofit, HVAC, lighting retrofit, and renewable energy projects.
4. Extensive experience with commercial projects and construction management.
5. Proficient in handling submittals and RFIs.
6. Strong knowledge of budgeting and cost control, with a proven track record in managing project finances and project budgets.
7. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
8. Strong working knowledge of project management tools and software.
10. Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
11. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
