Geosyntec Consultants is seeking a Senior Environmental Management Consultant in Greenville, SC, who can work remotely within South Carolina. Geosyntec is looking for a Senior Environmental Management Consultant to join our team and help expand our environmental assessment and regulatory compliance services. You'll have the flexibility to work remotely from your home office within South Carolina while being based in our Charleston, SC office. In this role, you'll lead client development, direct project teams, and nurture our professional staff, all while taking on innovative and complex environmental projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with corporate clients to ensure compliance with environmental regulations while designing and implementing effective compliance programs.Develop multimedia permit applications and negotiate permit conditions to achieve regulatory compliance.Oversee project management, including planning, budgeting, and ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and client satisfaction.Support clients with environmental aspects of transactions, reporting, and litigation.Recruit, mentor, and manage junior staff and mid-career engineers and scientists.Lead and review the preparation of technical documents, drawings, specifications, and proposals.Participate in meetings with clients and regulatory personnel to discuss project updates and compliance issues.Occasional fieldwork may be required, including contractor oversight.Travel to client or project sites as needed.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, chemical, or environmental preferred), geology, or closely related sciences field.Advanced degree (preferred).Professional registration (e.g., P.Eng.) is preferred.Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the consulting industry.Demonstrated success in providing consulting services and knowledge of local regulations.Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and client development.Excellent leadership, detail orientation, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Strong oral and technical writing skills.Willingness to participate in regular fieldwork and travel as necessary.Valid U.S. driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.Join us in making a difference in the world—apply today!
