As we continue to grow and evolve, we are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a Senior Environmental Health & Safety Specialist supporting our Nebraska region of Grain Elevators.

In this position, you will take the lead in identifying risks and implementing improvements across multiple locations. Your mission is to enhance EHS performance by developing and executing effective programs, processes, and procedures. The incumbent in this role will be at the forefront of fostering a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities
• Support locations in execution of EHS Management Systems, Significant Injury and Fatality (SIF) initiatives, and Life Critical Policies through education and training, auditing, coaching and leading.
• Provide strategic leadership to drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.
• Assist with the development of business unit EHS policies and procedures.
• Provide incident investigation support and lead those classified as Red Risk.
• Ensure operations activities incorporate all necessary auditing, monitoring, reporting and inspections to comply with standards.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred
• 5-10 years' relevant experience required
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), and/or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) certification preferred
• 50% travel requirement
