Environmental Services Supervisor

The Environmental Services Supervisor at Orange City Area Health System is responsible for cleaning patient/resident rooms and public areas, overseeing laundry operations, and ensuring a safe and attractive facility. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in Environmental Services or supervisory roles. This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, and includes various benefits.
The Environmental Services Supervisor assumes responsibility for overall cleaning of patient/resident rooms, work areas and public areas according to standards of the health system. He/she is responsible for overall laundry sorting and distribution. This role is responsible for the hospital, Mill Creek and Hospers clinics. Successful completion of the work on a regular basis will result in a clean, safe and attractive facility, which is conducive to the recovery of ill patients/residents and contributes positively to staff morale and the public relations of the health system.

Education/Experience Requirements:

Experience in Environmental Services or relative supervisory experience preferred with minimum of 2 years’ experience. Previous experience preferred but may train the right individual.

Job Schedule:

Full-Time: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. Monday – Friday. Hours may vary at times, as staff reporting to this position work 24/7.
