Overview: The University of Georgia is seeking a Senior Educator for Native Pollinator Conservation to work part-time (approx. 19 hours per week) at the Savannah River Ecology Laboratory (SREL). The successful candidate will develop hands-on pollinator gardens at local schools, serve as a point of contact and resource person for the pollinator program, and teach the pollinator curriculum. Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain pollinator gardens at local schools
• Serve as a point of contact and resource person for the pollinator program at schools
• Teach the pollinator curriculum to students and community members
• Provide interpretive and instructional opportunities at the SREL Conference Center, local schools, special events, and summer educational programs
• Collaborate with educators and researchers to promote pollinator conservation and education

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as biology, ecology, or environmental education
• Experience in education, conservation, or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
