We are looking for a Senior Advisor to work closely with our Marketing & Communications Manager – Global Transport to support the Transport business as we explore what’s possible in the transition towards a sustainable and resilient energy future.

Your role and responsibilities

This is a vital role supporting the creation and delivery of all brand and marketing activities across the Global Transport business, focusing on roads and highways, ports and maritime and other subsectors as required, and will touch on marketing, communications, media, PR, social initiatives and events.

Based out of our Brisbane office, this role will see you collaborating to create on-brand marketing content, managing internal stakeholders, working with our Global Marketing Managers on campaign planning and delivery logistics and providing support to the wider Global Marketing and Communication team as needed. A key part of this role will be working with Global Marketing Managers and the business at large to develop marketing campaigns including thought leadership, speaking opportunities, award submissions, partnerships and events.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years’ experience in marketing and communications roles and enjoy the challenges of a fast-paced environment with a broad spectrum of work and responsibilities. We’re looking for a superstar who can hit the ground running, with a passion for marketing, project management and stakeholder engagement.

Key Accountabilities
• Assist with developing, implementing, and managing the Global Transport brand and marketing initiatives in line with corporate and business unit growth plans.
• Identify and deliver a range of rich, relevant, and engaging campaigns and content to drive brand awareness, improve client acquisition and retention.
• Apply project management principles in carrying out communications, marketing and branding activities and accomplish project deliverables to the required standard and in a timely manner.
• Build and maintain positive, productive and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal applicant will have:
• Tertiary Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Management or related
• 7+ years’ experience in a similar marketing role, experience in professional services, infrastructure or engineering environment a plus
• Well-developed communication skills - you will be a skilled and confident communicator able to connect with people across the global business, both face to face and digitally/via VC
• Proven ability to plan and implement marketing campaigns and organisational skills with experience in project management, particularly the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and competing priorities
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement and management skills
• Creative and strong commercial acumen and the ability to create/pool relevant content that aligns with objectives
• Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to decipher technical information and repurpose content to be suitable for multiple audiences
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills including the ability to work independently
• A desire to be a genuine team player and work collaboratively with the broader team
• Experience with events, partnerships, awards and bran experience is a plus
