Climate Collective Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting climate tech startups. We work within the climate ecosystem to foster innovation by connecting startups with funding, investors, education, and accelerator programs. Our remote team of 40 members operates collaboratively to drive impactful, sustainable solutions for climate-related challenges.

About Startup Earth Centre

Startup Earth Center (SEC) is a tech-powered platform designed by Climate Collective to foster innovation and climate tech entrepreneurship. It is an open access, self-paced content platform for climate tech entrepreneurship courses based on modular learning tailored to the needs of the learner. SEC course content includes a user-friendly portal to support self-paced learning, equipped with interactive tools to enhance learning experiences. By democratizing educational access, the SEC aims to fill the critical gap in climate tech entrepreneurship.

About the Role

We are seeking a Climate Tech content expert specializing in clean energy to join our team part-time. As a Climate Tech content expert, you will be pivotal in building the courses on the SEC platform. Your role will be in the development of engaging educational content for the clean energy tech courses.

Key Responsibilities
• Build engaging course content including creating and curating startup case studies, providing expert feedback on the course templates, and integrating interactive tools to enrich the learning experience.
• Ensure that all content aligns with our strategic objectives and quality standards.
• Build script for educational videos and other resources by ensuring content clarity and engagement through well-prepared material and presentation.
• Refine the course content based on feedback and evaluation by the team and users.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience
• Work experience of minimum 6-8 years in clean energy/ sustainability/ climate tech.
• Experience in innovation and entrepreneurship is preferred
• Candidates with experience in content development are a plus.

Skills Required
• Ability to curate content according to templates provided using clean tech domain expertise and insight.
• Willing to explore new interactive online tools and a passion for creating high learning outcomes-based materials.
• Good communication skills, with the capacity to articulate ideas clearly and interact effectively with the team.
• Strong ethos to adhere to milestones and regular reporting according to agreed timelines.
• Great analytical skills and a high attention to detail.

The Climate Tech content expert will report to the Program Lead, Startup Earth Centre and will collaborate closely with other SEC team members.

Location

Remote – This is a fully remote role. We are seeking candidates based in India or those with an Indian bank account.
