Finray.Solar is hiring a Community Solar Sales Associate in Frederick, MD. The role involves engaging residential and small business customers, participating in community outreach, and achieving sales targets related to community solar. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and be self-motivated. Are you passionate about renewable energy and eager to make a positive impact on your community? We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Community Solar Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in connecting residential and small business Potomac Edison and other utility customers with the benefits of local community solar farms and helping home owners schedule rooftop solar consultations.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement: Engage with residential and small business utility customers in your community

Community Outreach: Beyond individual sales, you'll actively participate in community outreach programs and events to raise awareness about the benefits of community solar. This may include organizing workshops, attending local fairs, and collaborating with community organizations.

Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in solar energy and our community solar offerings. You'll be expected to articulate the financial and environmental aspects of the service convincingly.

Sales Targets: You'll have sales targets to meet, and your success will be measured by your ability to convert potential customers into enthusiastic community solar subscribers.

Qualifications:
• Sales Experience: Previous sales experience, especially in the energy sector, is a plus but not mandatory.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Self-Motivated: A self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
• Technical Aptitude: An ability to grasp technical concepts related to solar energy and explain them in simple terms to customers.
• Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to a dynamic and evolving industry.

Expected yearly pay with base and minimum commissions: $44,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year with uncapped potential (top earners with experience earn $150k+)
