Job Description
GB Packaging is seeking a Sales Representative in De Pere, WI. Responsibilities include answering customer inquiries, recommending products, conducting follow-up calls, and providing estimates. The role requires strong sales skills, collaboration with design teams, and travel within Wisconsin and Illinois. Responsibilities:
• Answer customers' questions regarding products, prices, and availability.
• Recommend products to customers based on their needs and interests.
• Contact both regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain features, and solicit orders.
• Conduct follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide estimates or quotes for prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
• Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve any problems and offer ongoing support.
• Build strong relationships with customers and prepare drawings, estimates, and bids tailored to their specific needs.
• Collaborate with the design team to provide customers with product samples.
• Identify prospective customers using various outreach methods.
• Arrange and oversee the delivery of products.
• Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
• Perform administrative duties, including preparing sales reports, maintaining sales records, and filing expense account reports.
• Obtain credit information about prospective customers.
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of selling principles, design, customer service technologies, and all phases involved in the industry's sales functions, as well as trends and changes in the industry.
• Skilled in marketing and sales presentations.
• Ability to conduct meetings and collaborate with personnel from various departments to support the sales function.
• Willingness to travel as needed to cover sales territory in Wisconsin and Illinois.
