EWMI is hiring a Response Technician for emergency response and environmental cleanup in Oxford, PA. Responsibilities include timely response to spills, interaction with emergency services, and physical labor involving equipment operation. The role requires on-call availability, overnight travel, and the ability to work in hazardous environments. Competitive wages and benefits are offered. Description:

Professional and quality driven Emergency Response contractor that provides environmental clean up services / HAZ MAT clean up throughout the Mid Atlantic region and beyond is seeking a hard working, ambitious individual to join our team.

Primary Duties & Expectations:

Respond in a timely manner to emergency spills and environmental clean up situations.

Interact with emergency services including but not limited to: fire, local and state police, EMS and regulatory agencies including DEP, DOT and EPA.

Work entails; on call response, physical labor, heavy equipment operation, working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, cutting tools, etc.

Project assignments include environmental spill response situations and working with chemicals, hazardous and non-hazardous wastes, confined space environments and other environmental remediation construction work.

Possess the ability to solve problems and capable of working in challenging environments.

This position requires overnight travel.

Interested candidates must be available for 24 hr. / 7day timely response to meet business demands.

Initial Training Period (90 days) located at our Northampton, PA office
