Burns & McDonnell is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for the Resilient Electric Grid Designer position in Wallingford, CT. The role involves leading substation design projects, preparing project documents, and collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery. Job Overview

The successful candidate will be a seasoned Electrical Engineer with expertise in substation design, protection, and control. They will lead and execute projects from conceptual phase to completion, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders.
Main Tasks:
• Prepare and review project documents, including proposals, scope statements, and execution plans.
• Design high-voltage electrical substations, incorporating control building arrangements and auxiliary AC/DC power systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth project delivery and excellent client satisfaction.
