Job Description
Madison Berkeley is hiring a Research Analyst for a leading FTSE 250 real estate company in London. The role involves conducting market research, analyzing real estate and economic data, supporting investment due diligence, and producing research presentations. Candidates should have strong analytical skills, experience with market data, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. This full-time position offers exposure to investment strategies and real asset sectors.
The Role
Our client invests in and manages high-quality, sustainable supply chain real assets across the UK, with a focus on long-term value creation. The platform operates across both listed and private market strategies and is active in sectors aligned with major structural trends, including digitisation, automation, urbanisation and the energy transition.
Research & Strategy is fully integrated across the business and plays a key role in investment decision-making, portfolio management and investor engagement.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Research & Strategy, the Research Analyst will support the delivery of market insight and strategic analysis across the logistics and data centre sectors.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting macro and micro market research across logistics and data centres
Analysing real estate, economic and capital markets data
Supporting investment due diligence, underwriting and portfolio analysis
Producing internal research presentations and investor-facing materials
Contributing to board-level, fund and results reporting
Undertaking financial and occupier analysis
Supporting strategic projects, trend analysis and ad hoc research requests
Candidate Profile
Strong analytical and quantitative skillset with excellent attention to detail
Experience working with real estate and market data; familiarity with CoStar, MSCI or RCA advantageous
Solid economic understanding and commercial awareness
Comfortable with financial analysis and investment concepts
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Strong written and verbal communication
Able to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
Relevant professional qualification desirable but not essential
